11th China-Xu Xiake International Tourism Festival opens

The opening ceremony of the 11th China-Xu Xiake International Tourism Festival & opening ceremony of Heilan Horse Culture Museum was organized in Pegasus Water City of Heilan Group on the morning of May 18. During the tourism festival, Jiangyin will launch 18 serial tourism activities including pilgrimage and public sacrifice activity for commemorating Xu Xiake of Mainland and Taiwan, season of ormosia flower appreciation in Gushan of Jiangyin and waterside gourmet festival in Shuangjing of Yuecheng. 
In recent years, the Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee and the Jiangyin Municipal People's Government have always regarded development of tourist industry as a significant measure of boosting economic transformation and upgrade and as an important grasp of improving city function quality, and spared no effort to optimize planning, construct projects, build brands and underlig service. Boutique scenic spots have been constantly completed; emerging business types have sprung up continuously; tourist festivals have been carried out brilliantly; and tourists from home and abroad have come in a continuous stream. 
 
The Heilan Horse Culture Museum was officially opened and unveiled on the day. As the only living organism horse culture museum in the world, the museum collects dozens of famous horses in the whole world, and reproduces history when horse and human civilization advance together by modern sound-light-electricity method and travelling through time.
