Jiangyin, Yixing, Xishan District and others are named as counties (cities, districts) advanced in population harmonious development

It was learnt from April 20 that since the 12th Five-Year Plan, all localities of Wuxi have earnestly implemented the decisions and deployments concerning comprehensively conducting population and family planning work and overall solving population problem made by the Party Central Committee, the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, actively constructed counties (cities, districts) advanced in population harmonious development, and acquired good effect. Jiangyin, Yixing, Xishan District, Huishan District and Binhu District were named as Counties (Cities, Districts) Advanced in Population Harmonious Development in Jiangsu by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, and Liangxi District was named as County (City, District) Advanced in Population Harmonious Development Construction in Jiangsu by the Jiangsu Provincial Population and Family Planning Leading Group. 
 
In 2016, Wuxi will adhere to smoothness, stability and orderliness as well as reform and completion of population family planning management; will put comprehensive two-child policy into practice according to law, drive comprehensive treatment on sex ratio at birth, and seriously investigate and treat behaviors of fetal sex diagnosis without medical needs and manual abortion without medical needs; and will execute family planning family interest policy, and promote social integration of floating population.
