A foreign general hospital soon in Wuxi

The senior management of Columbia Pacific Management, Inc. (CPM) traveled to Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on Dec 16 for the company's hospital project's groundbreaking ceremony, reported the Wuxi Daily.
The project is CPM's first general hospital in China, as well as Wuxi's first foreign general hospital.
The international facility, in Wuxi New District, will cover an area of 2.4 hectares. It is invested with $100 million and is scheduled to start operation at the end of 2017.
Wuxi Mayor Wang Quan said that the public’s demand for medical services and products is growing. Therefore, Wuxi is making great efforts to carry out health system reform, so social capital, including foreign capital, is welcome.
Wang hoped the hospital project will bring CPM's advanced medical technology and managerial experience to the city.
CPM's president Nate McLemore said they were impressed with Wuxi's development environment and highly efficient service during this cooperation. They plan to expand their business in China on the basis of this hospital.
