1st IOT employee skill contest in Wuxi

On April 13, the 1st Binhu District IOT (Internet of Things) Employee Skill Contest, sponsored by the Binhu District Federation of Trade Unions, held the final of site operation, indicating that the contest which had lasted for over 20 days would end soon. Reportedly, that was the 1st employee skill contest in practical technology of IOT in Wuxi. 
According to the mode of group competition, 2 contestants formed a team to take part in the contest. After theoretical examination, the top 40 entered the final of site operation. The final mainly examined competitors' wiring, programming and debugging abilities in IOT technology application equipment, and requested electrician and computer programming mapping worker to cooperate to finish operation task set by the organizing committee of the contest. It was learnt that the 2 members winning the first place in the total point of theoretical and practical examinations will be awarded Wuxi May 1 Labor Medal, rated as Wuxi May 1 Innovation Expert and given a total bonus of RMB 16 thousand. 
Relevant principals of the Binhu District Federation of Trade Unions introduced that some enterprises in the district worried about talents in transformation, and were afraid that original employees couldn't easily adapt to development and production of new technologies and new products; and that for the reason, the federation has planned to train 10 thousand employees in 2014, mainly in IOT technology, numerical control machining, maintenance electrician, CAD drawing and automation control.
