Wuxi to accelerate cultivating high-quality skilled talents in future 5 years

It was learnt from the Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Education on April 19 that to actively adapt to demands of accelerating creating new highland of modern industry development in Wuxi, enhance developmental level of vocational education and talent cultivation quality, and further enhance ability of serving economic and social development of vocational education, Wuxi will spend RMB 100 million in implementing vocational education quality promotion engineering from 2016 to 2020.

In future 5 years, Wuxi will cling to industrial development direction and create a batch of high-quality specialties, specialty groups and excellent courses; select and construct 100 Wuxi vocational education modernized brand specialties, subsidizing RMB 100,000 to every specialty; select and construct 50 Wuxi vocational education modernized characteristic specialties, subsidizing RMB 50,000 to every specialty; select and construct 100 Wuxi vocational education modernized specialty groups, subsidizing RMB 100,000 to every specialty; and select and construct 200 Wuxi vocational education excellent courses, subsidizing RMB 50,000 to every course, thus basically forming vocational education modernized specialty structure and curriculum system suited with modern industrial system of Wuxi.
