Liangxi District starts city appearance and environment comprehensive improvement

On March 9, Liangxi District fully started the comprehensive improvement engineering on city appearance and environment named as New Liangxi, New Appearance. It was learnt that this comprehensive improvement on city appearance and environment gathered forces of all residential streets and departments involving public security, industry and commerce, city management and housing and urban-rural development, aiming at taking the adjustment of administrative division as an opportunity, mobilizing strengths of all aspects in the whole district, letting city appearance have a new transformation and promotion quickly and letting the masses see genuine environmental change and strive to start new situation of environment appearance in Liangxi District. Xu Jie, Deputy Secretary of the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Liangxi District Party Committee, and Zhu Aixun, Deputy Mayor of Wuxi, attended the launching ceremony.

In this comprehensive improvement on city appearance, the Liangxi District Bureau of City Management will focus on carrying out special renovation on 10 issues concerned by citizens including main roads and key sections in the area under administration, parking order, community environment health, environmental sanitation and clean-keeping and riverway environment. Departments of city management shall start with hot, difficult and node problems influencing city appearance and environment appearance, gradually enlarge to the whole area under administration, strive to basically eliminate various obvious violation of city appearance in main roads and key sections, further decrease city appearance difficulties, further improve community internal environment appearance, obviously promote city appearance and environment orders near farmer's markets and schools, obviously reduce illegal construction, standardize management on advertisement, parking and muck, and obviously improve hardware facilities of the city.
