The activity of 10 thousand people signing to welcome the 4th World Buddhist Forum was officially launched in Mashan, Wuxi on September 28. Meanwhile, a batch of major engineering with a total investment of RMB 440 million have finished construction in succession.

On the morning of September 28, a batch of local volunteers, voluntary workers and people in window service industries gathered in the launching ceremony of 10 thousand people signing sponsored by the Publicity Department of the Binhu District Party Committee (Spiritual Civilization Construction Steering Committee) and the Wuxi Taihu National Tourist Holiday Zone. They signed their names on the banner reading Everyone well works as host and welcome forum with one heart and one mind, promising to realize civilized etiquette from themselves and welcome arrival of guests from the world in images of being civilized, polite and hospitable.

Focusing on the theme of beautifying environment, enhancing quality, optimizing image, running forum, a batch of major engineering with a total investment of RMB 440 million have been successively propelled and completed construction under elaborate organization, including the 2nd high pressure channel of 110 KV in Mashan and expansion engineering of Huanshan West Road in Mashan. All the engineering has comprehensively promoted entire infrastructure supporting level in Mashan area.

At the same time, the transformation and upgrade of road signage, tourism signage and bridge sign with an investment of RMB 2 million has finished in September. The renovation engineering of Longtouzhu Park with an investment of RMB 2 million has completed interior renovation in the park, and guarantees to finish in mid-October; and the upgrade engineering of traffic artery and main node greenery landscape with an investment of RMB 5 million has basically fulfilled, and night scene sketch and lighting engineering of main nodes are also guaranteed to be in place at the end of September.
