Celebrating the 5th anniversary of establishing sister cities between Wuxi and Frankston held

A few days ago, vigorously promoted and well organized by the Australia Wuxi Chamber of Commerce, the activity of celebrating the 5th anniversary of establishing sister cities between Wuxi and Frankston was held in the WUXIWALK in Frankston. Mr. James Dooley, Mayor of Frankston, Zhang Xiaohong, Representative of Consulate General of China in Melbourne, Huang Weiping, Chief Representative of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government in the State of Victoria, Zhang Zhongda, Chairperson of the Australia Wuxi Chamber of Commerce, members of the Wuxi Natives Association in Melbourne and Wuxi folks living, working and studying in Australia took part in this celebration activity together. 
On the site of the activity, congratulatory letters of Wang Quan, Mayor of Wuxi, Yao Jianhua, Director of the Standing Committee of the Wuxi Municipal People's Congress, and the Wuxi Overseas Sodality were read out. Zhang Zhongda, Mr. James Dooley and Zhao Xiaohong made speeches in succession. Both sides affirmed the valid results achieved from positive interaction with each other over 5 years and the deep friendship established. In future, the chamber of commerce and the natives association will hold activities of Wuxi Day in various forms in Australia at regular intervals, letting Wuxi, the livable city full of happiness be known and yearned for by more and more Australians when the name of WUXIWALK, the beautiful coastal road was widely known.
