野兔和猎狗

  一次，威廉姆带上猎狗去打猎，很快猎狗就发现了不远处有了目标——一只野兔正恐慌地逃跑，猎狗就追了上去。追了好长时间，猎狗还是没有将野兔抓住。

  野兔心想：“如果我不逃，我这一生就从此结束了。”

  而猎狗心里也想到：“追不到你也没有关系，最多是挨一顿骂，或饿一餐，也不至于会失掉性命。如果下次再让我遇到，一定不会放过你。”

  野兔是抱着“不成功便要成仁的决心。”

  猎狗抱着“这次不成功，以后还有机会。”的想法。

  最终，野兔逃掉了，猎狗筋疲力尽，空手而归。

  一个在观念及行动上用足了十分心力，一个仅用了七八分心力。全身心的投入，才是解除一切困境的出路。

Hares and Hounds

Once, William took his hound to hunt, and soon the hound found a target not far away - a hare was running away in panic, and the hound chased it. After a long chase, the hound did not catch the hare.

The hare thought, "If I don't run away, my life will be over from now on."

And the hound thought to himself, "It doesn't matter if I can't catch up with you. The most I can do is to be scolded or hungry, and I won't lose your life. If I meet you again, I will not let you go."

The hare is holding the "die for a righteous cause if not succeeding"

The hound holds "This is not a success, there is still a chance in the future."

Finally, the hare escaped, the hound exhausted and returned empty-handed.

One devotes a lot of effort to concepts and actions, while the other devotes only seven to eight. The way out of all difficulties is to devote oneself wholeheartedly.

산토끼와 사냥개

한번은 윌리엄이 사냥개를 데리고 사냥을 갔는데 곧 사냥개는 멀지 않은 곳에 목표가 있는것을 발견했다--산토끼 한 마리가 겁에 질려 도망가고 있는데,사냥개가 쫓아갔다.오랫동안 쫓아다녔지만 사냥개는 산토끼를 잡지 못했다.

산토끼는 속으로"만약 내가 도망가지 않는다면 내 일생은 끝이야."라고 생각했다.

사냥개는 마음속으로"쫓지 못해도 상관없다. 기껏해야 한바탕 욕을 먹거나 굶어 죽을수도 있다.다음에 또 만난다면 가만두지 않겠다"라고 생각했다.

산토끼는 성공하지 못하면 인정이 생긴다는 마음가짐이다.

사냥개는 이번에는 안 되면 나중에 기회가 있다는 생각에 사로잡여 있었다.

결국 산토끼는 도망가고 사냥개는 기진맥진하여 빈손으로 돌아왔다.

하나는 관념 및 행동에 있어서 충분한 심력을 썼고 하나는 겨우 7, 8분의 심력을 썼을 뿐이다.혼신의 힘을 쏟아 붓는 것이 모든 어려움을 해소하는 길이다.
