In 2016, Wuxi will popularize 1,280 new energy vehicles of various kinds, and in the meantime, reinforce infrastructure construction, finish layout of 1,400 charging piles and preliminarily complete construction of city-level operation monitoring platform, all of which were learnt about from the city new energy vehicle application and promotion leading group and office members meeting. Moreover, the meeting also issued subsidy policy for purchase of new energy vehicles in Wuxi in 2016.

On the foundation of continuing to focus on public transportation, rental and other majorly promoted fields, Wuxi will strengthen popularization in logistics, tourism and other fields in 2016, and adopt more attractive policy measures to encourage and guide private consumers to buy new energy vehicles at the same time. Since the beginning of 2016, parking stalls of all newly-built communities will realize 100% configuration of charging facilities, and those in city and district government organs will be set up charging facilities according to the proportion of 10% to 15%.
