tiān tiān hàn yǔ fēng (天天汉语风) Level 1 Lesson 1

Hello dear all:

We've received a lot of massages to ask if we can offer some free Chinese useful expressions for foreign expats with our official Wechat account. After the preprofessional preparations, We  are planing to start this Free Chinese learning expression: “tiān tiān hàn yǔ fēng (天天汉语风)” to all our Wechat members wherever you are in China or already out of China. tiān tiān hàn yǔ fēng (天天汉语风) means: Learn Mandarin with us every day.

“tiān tiān hàn yǔ fēng (天天汉语风)” Level 1 is for beginners who just start to learn Chinese.

“tiān tiān hàn yǔ fēng (天天汉语风)”Level 2 is for the students who’ve learned Chinese around 1 years already.

“tiān tiān hàn yǔ fēng (天天汉语风)”Level 3 is for the students who already knew the basic Chinese languages, but sometimes be stuck with some Chinese phrase or can’t recognize the different Chinese Similar words.

“tiān tiān hàn yǔ fēng (天天汉语风)”Level 4 is for the students who want to learn some Chinese cultures ,laws ,study trips, traveling in China,and the normal life in China.

For all the Chinese expressions we offered, If you want to know the sound of each word or the whole sentence you can copy the Chinese pinyin or Chinese characters and reply us in our official Wechat . And also if think the pinyin or Characters are difficult to text， you can also to put the Chinese pin yin with the sound numbers to get the pronunciation.

For example: If you want to know the sound of the Chinese word :

wǒ  wo3

我    which means: I,Me

You can reply us : wǒ or 我 or wo3 .

Now lets start our Chinese lessons:

Level 1 -- Lesson 1

For a foreign Expat who just arrived China, I think the first thing you want to do is trying to ask for something or to buy something. Here is the easiest magical Chinese sentence for you:

wǒ  yào  zhè  gè。

我   要    这    个。 Which means: I want this.

or

wǒ   yào   nà   gè 。

我     要     那    个。 Which means: I want that.

Useful explanation:

wǒ ( wo3 )

我         means:   I  ,  Me

yào ( yao4 )

要         means：  want

zhè gè  ( zhe4 ge4 )

这  个    means:    this

nà gè  ( na4 ge4 )

那  个     means    that

Questions and answers:

nǐ yào shí me

Q: 你  要  什 么 ？  What do you want ?

wǒ  yào  zhè  gè

A: 我   要    这    个。 I want this.

or

wǒ   yào   nà   gè 。

我     要     那    个。 I want that.

If you can speak this sentence well, it means you can ask for anything even you don’t know the name of the thing in Chinese. So please try to practice with your Chinese friend or colleagues this magical sentence now. :)
