Happy Chinese New Year Festival

中国新年通知

As the Chinese traditional festival——Chinese Spring Festival is coming soon, our school will have a holiday from the February 9th to February 18th.Nobody will work or stand by during this holiday. If you have any questions or need help, please contact the number:18661199908. The French students can contact: 67777.

During the Holiday, you will see the real Chinese folk culture, and describe you the real spring festival so please enjoy yourself and have a nice and safe holiday. All the students please pay attention on the following things too:

1. If you going to travel or visit friends to the other cities, please make sure let us know your schedule. the email is: iej@mandarinedu.org.

2. If you leave your apartment for more than one day, please make sure to disconnected your power and water(Include refrigerator、bathroom water heater etc.) and lock your door and window.

3. Spring Festival is the most important festival in China, I am sure you will have a lot of fun. But Spring Festival is the most crowed time and please be careful any of the criminal or misunderstanding things happen to you. All the students please don’t break the Chinese laws, please respect the local regulations, Please don’t talk to the person you don’t know on the road, especially don’t drink,eat or smoke anything from the strangers, don’t go to unfamiliar village or town alone. If you have any special arrangement please inform the school to know.

4. During the holiday we will try to organize some activities for the students who will stay in Wuxi. Here is the Schedule:

February 8th, in that evening we will go to Wuxi Grand Buddha —— Lingshan Buddha. ( more information please visit website Video: http://www.mandarinedu.org/en/CultureShow.aspx?id=185 , The ticket price will be: 235RMB for one Person.

Feb 13th Hui Shan old town. Here is the video link about Huishan Town: http://www.mandarinedu.org/en/CultureShow.aspx?id=175 . There should be some New Year activities, if we know the exactly time , we may change the date, So please let us know who want to go, I will let you know ASAP.

Feb 15th James wedding. On this Wedding you will see what is Chinese traditional Wedding. James try to let you see those part: How does he going to pick up the Bride. Then How do they drink and what should they do in the wedding . After eat Lunch, then take you to one of the garden to the Wuxi town or go to the KTV to sing. After eat dinner ,then come back .... You can find the detail by yourself. We will meet at gate of baolong carrefour at 7am. Anything you need to contact please call Carla: 66511.

Feb 24th ,probably hot spring or big Buddha again. If you are all interested in please try to tell us , please send the mail to iej@mandarinedu.org and tell us which one you want to go or go both. we will try to organize it on this day.

5. Whatever you stay in Wuxi or go out to traveling, please look out for your own safety, the train will be very crowded during this holiday, please arrange your schedule in advance. If you need school help to book train ticket please inform us before Feb 8th(include return ticket).
