对外汉语教师在澳大利亚的汉语教学实习心得
今天是我在澳大利亚安格林肯私立学校教授中文课的第一天。第一堂课上,我给学生们做了一个问卷调查,问卷内容大约包括以下几点:学习中文的目的,对中国和中文的了解,倾向于什么样的上课模式,对中文老师的要求和看法。之后我会根据问卷调查结果对我的汉语教学进行适当调整。
接下来的时间,我给每一个孩子发了一张白纸,让他们画下或者写下对中国的印象,可以是他们在书上看到或日常生活中听到的一些传说,通过电视报纸了解到的中国,或者有些以前去过中国,给他们最直观的印象等等。在学生进行创作的过程中,我看到有的学生画了长城,有的画了大熊猫,有的在纸上写下了“Better City, Better Life”, 这应该是受上海世博会的影响。从他们的画作中,我还发现外国孩子比中国孩子的想象力更丰富一些,他们更敢想敢写敢说,也许和他们从小接受的教育有关。最后,我们进行了一个全班的讨论,每一个学生带着自己的作品到讲台上进行展示,我会对他们所画所写的内容进行解释和讲解,大家也可以相互交流,提出更多的问题或看法。
第一节课很快就结束了,通过这节课我了解到了很多东西。首先,大多数孩子选择学习中文的目的是为了和中国人交流,了解神秘的东方文化,一些孩子甚至坦言学习中文后可以向其他孩子炫耀,呵呵,果然是小孩心性呢!其次,学生喜欢在轻松、互动的课堂里学习,他们并不喜欢老师站在讲台上挥汗如雨地讲课,学生坐在下面听课。他们希望老师在课堂上可以设置一些小游戏、小比赛来帮助他们学习,这些都为我以后的汉语教学设计指明了方向。
另外,孩子们在课上的创作也让我知道,很多人并没有去过中国,对中国的了解仅仅来自于书本,他们觉得中国是一个神奇的国度,有龙(龙在国外被视为邪恶的象征)、功夫、熊猫、多种多样的节日和习俗,这些都是对中国非常正面积极的因素,在以后的教学中我也可以加以利用,将中国更多更美好的文化传播出去,这是我作为一名对外汉语教师应尽的义务。
最后,在海外的对外汉语教师一定要因地制宜,每一个地方的孩子的文化背景、教育环境以及性格都是有很大区别的,每个老师应该针对具体的情况灵活变通教学设计的方法,这样才能更好地接近学生,和学生融洽相处,把要传播的知识和文化很好地传递出去。
