2. Two-inch color photograph

4. Registration Form of Temporary Accommodation

5. Health certificate for applicants aged 18[[[ and ]]]above who apply for a one-year Residence Permit for the first time

6. Other documents in accordance with the classification of applicants ( Documents provided by foreign agencies should be verified by Chinese embassy or consulate[[[ and ]]]be translated[[[ into ]]]Chinese.)

1) People holding posts[[[ and ]]]their accompanying family members: official letter[[[ from ]]]the employer; Foreigner’s Employment Permit or Foreign Expert Certificate; Organization Code Card; Investment Approval certificate[[[ and ]]]Business License or Registration Certificate of Resident Representative office of Foreign Enterprises, Work Permit of Resident Representative Office of Foreign Enterprises; certifying documents of family relationship for accompanying family members

2) Resident correspondents[[[ and ]]]their accompanying family members: Press Card; official letters[[[ from ]]]Foreign Affairs Office of People’s Government of Jiangsu Province or the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; certifying documents of family relationship for accompanying family members

3) Foreign students：official letters[[[ from ]]]the school; Organization Code Card; Admission Notice; Form JW201 or Form JW202

4) People visiting family members: identity certificate of family members; certifying documents of family relationship; evidence for family members’ residence for more than 6 six months in Wuxi

5) People seeking shelter with family members: the household registration of one’s family members if they are Chinese citizens or the Alien Permanent Residence Permits if they are aliens; notarized kinship certificates[[[ and ]]]certificates of having no direct family members in the native country; notarized evidence of one’s financial sources or affidavit of financial support of such direct family members; notarized certificates of one’s house ownership or the lease or that of your relatives

6) People purchasing house property: house property certificate; evidence of the source of finance (in the forms of drafts, bank deposit certificates, cash cards, etc) or affidavit of financial support or evidence of financial self-guarantee notarized by Domestic notary offices

7) People supporting parents: identity certificate of the parents; notarized certificate for family relationship[[[ and ]]]that the parents have no other children in China; notarized evidence of one’s source of finance[[[ and ]]]the house ownership or the lease

8) Children in the care of relatives: birth certificate; identity certificate of the parents; parents’ letter of entrusting the child to the guardian; identity certificate of the guardian; notarized guarantee letter written by the guardian.

(Charges)400RMB for a Residence Permit valid for less than one year; 800 RMB for a Residence Permit valid for one year to 3 years; 1000RMB for a Residence Permit valid for 3 years to 5 years
