Comparison of“还是”and“或者”
Both“还是”and“或者”are used to connect choices.“还是”is used in interrogative sentences，and“或者”in declaratives sentences. For example：
（1）would you like coffee or tea?
（2）Will it be sunny or cloudy tomorrow?
（3）Either rice or noodles will do for tonight.
（4）It's nice to have a cup of hot tea when it's cold or you're tired from work.
For sentences with interrogative clause.only“还是” can be used in the clause.For example：
（1）whether Mrs Zhou is 40 or 50, we don't know.
（2）xiao li hasn't decided whether to go hiking or watch a movie on the weekend.
（3）Whether his birthday is in October or November, I can't remember.
（4）I don't know whether this person is male or female.
01)你要喝咖啡还是喝茶?
02)明天是睛天还是阴天？
03)今天晚上吃米饭或者面条都可以。
04)天冷了或者工作累了的时候，喝杯热茶很舒服。
有的句子包含疑问形式的小句，小句中只能用“还是”例如：
01)周太大40岁还是50岁，我们不知道。
02)小丽还没想还好周末是去爬山还是看电影。
03)他的生日是10月还是11月，我不记得了。
04)我不知道这个人是男的还是女的。
“아니면还是”와 “혹은或者”
중국어에서 “아니면”와“혹은”로 선택을 표시할 수 있다.보통, “아니면还是”는 의문문에서 사용하고,“혹은或者”는 평서문에서 사용하다.예:
(1) 커피를 드시겠습니까,아니면 차를 드시곘습니까?
(2) 내일은 맑은 날입니까 아니면 흐린 날입니까?
(3) 오늘 저녁에는 밥이나 국수를 먹어도 돼요.
(4) 날씨가 추웠거나 일이 고달플 때는 따뜻한 차를 한 잔 마시면 매우 편안합니다.
어떤 문장중에서 의문형식의 작은 문구를 포함하고 작은 문구에서 “아니면还是”만 사용할 수 있다.예를들면:
(1) 주부인은 40살인지 50살인지 우리는 모른다.
(2) 소려가 주말에 등산이나 영화 보러 갈지는 아직 생각 안 했어.
(3) 그의 생일이 10월인지 11월인지 나는 기억하지 못한다.
(4) 나는 이 사람이 남자인지 여자인지 모른다.
