Sunan Aquatic City to be officially put into use within 2016

It was learnt from the rental signing ceremony of the Sunan Aquatic City on May 4 that the Sunan Aquatic City will be officially put into use within 2016, and removal of the aquatic product wholesale market in Wuxi will also be officially started in the meantime.

The Sunan Aquatic City is located in Wang'an Village of Huazhuang Residential Street in Binhu District. Principal of Sunan Agricultural and Sideline Products Logistics Service Co., Ltd. which is in charge of operation of the Sunan Aquatic City introduced there are 2 large-scale aquatic products wholesale markets in Wuxi at present. Site selection of aquatic product wholesale market in Huazhuang Residential Street in Binhu District by Wuxi, a big consumption city of aquatic products, is of great importance in accelerating propulsion of constructing Sunan Agricultural and Sideline Products Logistics Center, forming city agricultural and sideline products logistics distribution system with scale farmer's market as backbone and completing city distribution function.

Reportedly, layout, transformation, investment attraction and operation of the Sunan Aquatic City are being orderly propelled. After being put into use, it will integrate functions including gathering and distribution of agricultural products, information transfer, settlement of transactions and guarantee of supply and quality safety of agricultural products together, and form a specialized, standard and informationalized trading market.
